Meet Playwright, Kenneth Jones, to discuss Oak Ridge Playhouse’s Premiere of Hollywood, Nebraska

Oak Ridge Public Library welcomes New York City playwright Kenneth Jones and Oak Ridge Poet Laureate and University of Tennessee professor Dr. Erin Elizabeth Smith for a lively Q&A about the upcoming Oak Ridge Playhouse world premiere of Jones’ comedy HOLLYWOOD, NEBRASKA, opening Sept. 23rd and running select dates through October 2nd, sponsored by TownePlace Suites by Marriott. Scripts will be distributed in advance so that following the interview readers can discuss and ask questions about the characters, conflicts, and world of the play. A chance to be the first to read and discuss a new American play before it hits the boards!
Light refreshments will be provided. Attendees can register with a registration link to attend virtually or register to attend in person. Kenneth Jones, the playwright will be interviewed by the Oak Ridge Poet Laureate about his upcoming premier of Hollywood, Nebraska.
Afterwards, the floor will be opened up for questions for the author from both the virtual and in-person audiences. A PDF copy of the script of Hollywood, Nebraska will be emailed to registrants prior to the event on September 9th, along with potential questions the audience could consider directing towards Mr. Jones.
