Ms. Arnold is the headliner at 2022’s Flatwater Tales Storytelling Festival. In addition to discussing her career as a storyteller, Ms. Arnold will be telling the story of Oak Ridge’s Scarboro 85. The 85 were the first to desegregate a school district in the South. Sheila will be honoring them by sharing some of their stories. The 2022 Flatwater Tales Storytelling Festival in Oak Ridge Tennessee is June 3-4 at the historic Grove Theater with a workshop on June 2 at the UT Arboretum.
