From the start of the school year until the last day, storytime is a fixture here at the library. Our Children’s Librarian, Ms. Michaela, welcomes children and their caregivers to come participate in stories, songs, fingerplays, and flannel boards as she reads some of her favorite books, both old and new.

Each month, Ms. Michaela creates and follows a list of fun topics that correspond with the season.

What is Storytime?

10:30 am | Babies and Toddlers

On Mondays, Ms. Michaela welcomes her babies and toddlers at 10:30 am in the library auditorium. During the 20-30 minute session, we share songs, stories, and action rhymes, as we move and learn.

10:30 am | Preschool and Up

On Tuesdays at 10:30 in the auditorium we welcome preschoolers and up to listen, interact, and participate in their own 30-40 minute session.

Every Storytime

Caregivers participate with us and learn new stories and songs that they can share with their kids.

Why Storytime?

Storytimes support healthy, whole-child development and foster early literacy and social-emotional skills that are essential for reading readiness. Won’t you join us?
