First Annual Seed Swap

Want to add more variety to your plantings for the next garden season? Join us for ORPL’s 1st Annual Seed Swap. Just bring in your half used seed packs from the last year or two, seed packs you never used, or seeds you have saved from your garden and drop by at your convenience at the library.

ORPL’s seed catalog staff will be in the library lobby where they will display  surplus seeds from their catalog, as well as surplus seed stock. If you are not sure about your seed’s viability rate (the date on your seed packet versus how long those seeds are viable), check online for a “seed viability chart,” which will show how many years your seed is viable. We are overstocked in several varieties of seeds such as okra, carrots, beans, lettuce, peppers, an herb, Anise, and several corn varieties and more. Bring what ‘ya got and let’s trade!
