In-Library Internet Access
Public Computers
Desktop and laptop computers are available for public use. With a card in good standing, library patrons may use desktop computers for an unlimited amount of time, as long as no one else is waiting. Guest passes are available for those without an ORPL library card. For anyone with fines over $10, we ask that you pay down your fine by at least $2 each visit in order to use a computer. See below for laptop details.
Wi-Fi
Patrons can connect to the library’s Wi-Fi from the parking lot, the picnic tables outside, the plaza behind the library, or inside library. Our Wi-Fi is available 24/7 for anyone with or without a card. Select ORPublic from the network list. No password is required.
Borrowables
Hotspots
The library offers hotspots to patrons with a card that is in good standing and no longer in the probationary period. Hotspots are mobile Wi-Fi devices that patrons can check out for one week with no renewals, at no cost. To place a hold for a hotspot, you can call the library or log onto your account.
Laptops
We have laptops available for in-house use! To check out a laptop patrons will need to visit the front desk, present their library card that is in good standing, and a photo ID. Laptops can be checked out for three hours. If a quiet space is needed, you can book our meeting room or check in at the front desk.
