Display Cases

In addition to educating, enriching, and entertaining our community, displays provide exposure for your nonprofit organization and help to grow your membership. As a public service we offer free display space with 4 window displays in the library’s hallway.

Information about the cases we offer and the restrictions and conditions of use can be found below. To reserve a display case, please complete the form below.

 

Conditions of Use

  • Must serve to inform the public of the purpose and scope of your group or non-profit.
  • Can display a hobby, collection, crafts, and/or handiworks.
  • Cannot promote any political, religious, personal, group, or association’s beliefs, opinions or positions.
  • Cannot advocate/encourage discrimination of persons because of sex, race, gender, national origin, or religion.
  • Cannot depict profanity, violence, or illegal activity of any kind.
  • Each display installer is solely responsible for the content of their work. Any copyright or intellectual property rights are the artist’s responsibility.
  • Oak Ridge Public Library reserves the right to refuse the use of the exhibit areas at the Library's discretion.
  • Though cases do have locks, neither the City of Oak Ridge nor the Oak Ridge Public Library staff assume responsibility for the preservation, protection, insurance or possible damage or theft of any items or materials displayed.
